Journey through the African great plains on a 1-week safari through some of Kenya’s most beautiful national parks and reserves. Mara is known for almost guaranteed sightings of the Big 5: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. It is also popular for the annual migration of zebra and wildebeest which occurs from July to October.

Early morning
Pick up from your hotel at 0700hrs and drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Hot buffet Lunch at Narok Town. You will arrive Masai Mara in the afternoon by 3.30pm and have coffee and head for game drives through the reserve, driving through seemingly endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills, where lions, elephants, buffalos, zebras and numerous plain animals are in abundance. Return for dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

After breakfast, get your picnic lunch boxes and head out for the morning game viewing. Watch the Big five, Big cats and lots of other wildlife. It’s a long drive to the Mara river where you will be able to view hippos and crocodiles. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive viewing. All meals and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

Morning game drive in Masai Mara, then return to the lodge/camp for breakfast. After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru where you will stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Have lunch en-route and arrive at the hotel in the evening to check-in in time for dinner and overnight at Lodge/Camp

Early breakfast, then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. Game drive until 11:00 pm. Drive south along this scenic valley to Lake Naivasha. This is one of the Rift Valley’s freshwater lakes and has a different ecology from that of the soda lakes. It is also home to a large variety of bird species. All meals and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.
Optional activities at Lake Naivasha include boat rides to view hippos and a wealth of birdlife, which can be paid for directly to the boat company.

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Hell’s Gate for a game drive. Here is the only place one can walk inside the park as there are no predators. You will decide if you’ll do the game drive with the safari vehicle or if you’ll rent a bicycle to cycle the 11 km down to the gorge. At the gorge, you will get a guide so that he can guide you and share information about the rock layers. Late drive/cycle back to the gate, leave Naivasha with lunch en route and drive to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive late in the evening. Dinner & overnight at Lodge/Camp

Morning and afternoon game drives where Mount Kilimanjaro is in the background offer good photographic scenery, with herds of elephants and other animals in the background as well. All meals and overnight at the Lodge/Camp
Pre-breakfast game viewing. After breakfast, game viewing en route back to Nairobi where you arrive at around 15:00hrs. Lunch en route. On arrival in Nairobi, you are dropped at your town hotel or the airport.
