The Maasai Mara is Kenya’s most celebrated game park, it offers the possibility of seeing “the Big Five” and many other species of game. This is where the great wildebeest migration “the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle” occurs mainly in July and August of each year. Lake Nakuru (Pink Lake) is often referred to due to its Great masses of Flamingos not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park.

The organization of the whole journey was perfect, all places we stayed at nights, dining and activities were arranged just so that we could spend most of the time enjoying the splendid Kenyan wildlife. Moreover, Sammy is very flexible and can easily adopt to any circumstances and change the iternary accordingly. For instance, we had a delay of flight from Dubai for 26 hours, but he managed to compensate it so, that we did not feel we lost much during this whole day of safari.
During the trip I managed to make photos of more than 180 species of birds and around 20 different mammals including the famous african big five. I have never had such a perfect opportunity to observe wild nature before. The safari included not only jeep game drives, but also boat trips at Naivasha and Baringo lakes as well as walking which is very important when looking for small birds.

Early morning
Pick up from hotel at around 8:00 am drive southwards along the floor of the Great Rift Valley with a stopover at the viewpoint arriving in time for lunch. Later proceed for an evening game drive which is well known for its rich, tree-studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is also renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-maned lions, leopard, and cheetah but also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya.
Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Camp.
After breakfast with a picnic lunch, you spend a full day game viewing with a visit to the Mara river where there is a concentration of a lot of animals. You will have your picnic lunch as you watch the crocodiles, hippos, and other animals living in the water. On this day you have the option of going to visit the Masai villages.

The pre-early game drive then after late breakfast depart to Nakuru national park with picnic lunch on the way arriving in the evening, if time allows you pass via Naivasha for a boat ride at Lake Naivasha Crescent Island.

After early breakfast spend the morning in Nakuru park where you see a lot of flamingos among other birds [about 350 species recorded]. This is also home to the black and the white rhinoceros. The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the Rhino and is also home to Columbus monkeys. Leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope.
After departing to Nairobi with picnic lunch on the way to drop off airport or your hotel.
